A database is a structured collection of records or data that is stored in a computer system so that a computer programme or person using a query language can consult it to answer queries. The records retrieved in answer to queries are information that can be used to make decisions. The central concept of using computational approach and information about the various types of diseases that occur in rice and wheat crop a database is generated which gives information about various diseases that occur in these crops. The content of data is obtained by combining data from all different sources, the database is managed by a software package known as database management system. Thus a database management system is a combination of hardware and software that can be used to setup and monitor a database. The basic layout of the home page of database was designed. This can be done by taking various basic web layouts available on internet and using the programming language HTML and PHP. The wed page was connected to the database that was designed in mySQL.
